WHAT IS EFT?
Simply put, EFT is a form of emotional acupuncture, without the use of needles. We tap on energy meridians while holding a problem or difficulty in our mind. The current theory is that “The cause of all negative emotions is a disturbance in the body’s energy system.” The method uses affirmations and acupucnture meridians.
It is easy to learn and use on your own. It is rapid and effective, sometimes magical.
How I integrate this method into my approach
I find EFT very effective and rapid and I often get surprising results, so much so that I teach basic EFT to almost all my clients and use it in most of my sessions. When well learned and applied, EFT can be very powerful and rapid.
EFT has been one of the keys to discovering, trusting, developing, and following my intuition when I am with a client. This has allowed me to move from doing the technique to the art of delivering it.
To my surprise, I have found by doing chakra readings before and after using EFT that the tapping on the meridians points actually has the effect of opening some chakras.
